Following a steep reduction for October shipment from overseas producers, a major domestic maker in India has announced fresh PVC offers to local buyers with INR3000/ton ($41/ton) reduction with effective 1 October 2018. 

Indian market participants continue seeing soft demand condition despite the fact that the monsoon season might end soon. “With the current exchange rate, buyers might prefer to source cargoes from local ground. We are on the wait and see at the moment and would only procure small quantity,” a buyer commented.
