It is reported that a major Saudi Arabia producer has announced April shipment offers for both PP and PE to Southeast Asia mostly at higher levels compared to last month. The hike concentrates on PP cargoes due to the tight supply condition for these grades.

Vietnamese buyers show very limited interest in the latest offers citing the high price levels and weak demand in the local ground. “We are not planning to make any new purchases this round. Domestic market is still affected by ample PE cargoes originated from the USA while PP remains sluggish,” a local trader commented.
