China's CSPC delayed restart date for PP plant

According to market sources, CNOOC and Shell Petrochemical Co Ltd (CSPC) (Phase II) has extended the maintenance schedule for its PP plant due to unexpected technical issues.

Based in Guangzhou, China, the company has shut its 400,000 tons/year PP since 7 June 2018 for a brief maintenance and restarted on 17 June, however, failed to achieve stable production and being forced to remain off-stream until 22 June 2018.
