Japan's JXTG restarted cracker from emergency shutdown

Market sources reported that JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy has brought onstream its cracker since 17 June 2018.
Based in Kawasaki, Japan, the cracker is able to produce 448,000 tons/year of ethylene, 273,000 tons/year of propylene and 70,000 tons/year of butadiene. The cracker has been shut since end of May due to furnace issues.
