China's Qinghai Salt Lake to start up new PP plant in December

According to market sources, Qinghai Salt Lake Industry Group Co Ltd has successfully started up its new methanol and MTO plant since 5 November 2018.

Based in Qinghai, China, the new plant consists of 1 million tons/year of methanol unit, whereby on-spec methanol are being achieved successfully yesterday. Meanwhile, its 330,000 tons/year of MTO unit and 160,000 tons/year PP plant are expected to start up by December this year.
