Unplanned shutdown at China’s Zhongtian PP, LDPE plants

Market sources reported that Zhongtian Hechuang Co Ltd will be having unplanned shutdown for its LDPE and PP plant by 8 January 2019 due to electricity supply issue.

Based in Erdos, Inner Mongolia, China, the plants which are involved in shutdown include a 120,000 tons/year of LDPE (Kettle Method) plant, a 250,000 tons/year of LDPE (Tubular Method) plant and a 700,000 tons/year PP plant. It is expected to resume by end of the month.
