Unplanned shutdown at China’s Shenhua coal-based PP, PE plants

According to market sources, Shenhua Ningxia Coal Industry Group (Ningmei) is planning to shut its Phase II coal-based PP and PE plants by next week due to unexpected issues at granulator.
Based in Ningxia, China, the Phase II complex consists of 600,000 tons/year PP plant and 450,000 tons/year PE plant. Both plants are expected to remain off-stream for a week.
