The Asian market is witnessing fewer maintenance shutdown schedules among naphtha cracking operators in the region in 2019 with no report of overhauls in Thailand and Singapore at the time is report is published.

Most of the shutdown concentrating in South Korea this year with Hanwha Total Petrochemical is planning to expand the ethylene production capacity by 310,000 tons/year to 1.41 million tons from the existing output.
