China’s Zhong An to startup new coal-based PP, PE plants

According to market sources, Zhong An United Coal Chemical Co Ltd has conducted product introduction ceremony to their customers today, announcing the commercial production of its new coal-based PP and PE plant by July.

Based in Huainan, China, the company has a 1.7 million tons/year of coal-to-methanol plant, and 350,000 tons/year each for PP and LLDPE plant. The company is planning to conduct trial production in June and prime materials are expected to be achieved by July this year.
