China’s Baofeng starts up Phase II PP plant

According to market sources, Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co Ltd has started their new PP plant for phase II today and expected to have prime materials to the market by next week, meanwhile PE plant will be starting up right afterward.

Based in Ningxia, China, the coal-based Phase II project consists of 300,000 tons/year of PP and 300,000 tons/year of HDPE units. In addition, HDPE cargoes are expected to be available in the market after 20 September 2019.
