UPDATE: Malaysia’s Petronas to postpone maintenance shutdown at PE plants
According to market sources, Petronas Chemicals Group is planning to postpone the three-week maintenance shutdown at the PE plants in Kerteh to June 2021, about three months later than the initial schedule.
The Kerteh complex houses an LLDPE/HDPE swing line with an annual output of 250,000 tons/year and a standalone 50,000 tons/year LLDPE line.
The producer originally planned the turnaround in March.
