Heavy supply and weak demand dragged the Chinese HDPE film market

On the supply side, seven local producers are bringing eleven HDPE plants online between July and August following the recent maintenance schedules. The return of local cargoes coincides with the arrival of previously purchased imported parcels, drastically boosting availability.
