As of 12 January 2023, at least nine PP plants, concentrating largely in South Korea have confirmed shutdown schedules in the first quarter of this year.
With the heavy shutdown schedules concentrated in January and February, market sources are expecting lower availability, especially for HDPE and LLDPE grades.
