Supply outlook gets early relief as major producer restarts line ahead of schedule

A tight regional HDPE market could catch a break in the coming weeks as a major Malaysian producer brought a key production line back online earlier than planned, offering some relief to a supply picture that remains stretched heading into next month. The early return follows favourable feedstock conditions, while converters are largely running on inventories that stretch only to month-end, making it highly plausible that a wave of restocking demand could emerge shortly.
